Bush of roses

Sometimes I prefer to ban myself from looking at fashion magazines to avoid copying and doing "my own versions". I rely on other source of inspirations. This time it was just a bush of village roses spotted in the garden. It`s bright pink, it`s alive, fantastic colour. It suddenly made me think if I have something pink in my wardrobe. This turned to be these shoes, a present from a woman, I worn them once just to try them on and to show that I liked her present, but they actually were not my thing with a that mettallic heels and colour seemed to be too girly and unnatural. Until today. And that`s all thanks to a random bush of roses.

There`re so many things around us that can enlight our imagination!

It`s also been so windy so I had to find the option to keep my hair in order and here`s the chance to wear this turban hat again, wore it already with this blouse before, they are a fab looking combo so just thought it would be a crime to separate them.

Vintage Suzy Smith bag was added to the shop-here.

Inspiration:70-s

Major SS11 trend- revival of 70-s. Hippie, fringe, brights colours, lace, flowy fabric, psychedelic prints, flared pants- so many to choose from to creat funky disco or romantic bohemian looks.
Here`s some great inspiration from real 70-s, modern designers and chictopians.

Gypsy skirts and flouncy dresses.

Required to be inspired

Little Red Purse

Style it SashaWide brimmed hats and wide-leg trousers.

Disarming DarlingAs for myself I don`t feel ready to pull on hugely popular platforms and flares yet. May be because of this windy weather and lack of sunshine I`m still not set for Summer. But I`ve lately found vintage dress by Ossie Clark on ebay and was trully fascinated by it. It`s green like English grass and is so romantic and feminine featuring low cut and flowing sleeves aww I can only imagine how I would feel wearing this dress. Unfortunately it was way out of my budget and (what a reasonable excuse) not my size.

What about you, what`s your attitude to 70-s fashion trends?

Vintage blazer

As you may have noticed this blog was under construction for sometime please accept apologies if someone was browsing it at that time. Not being a web designer I was wrestling with all these html codes like crazy. So this is the result, will try to improve it when have time.

Anyway, how you all doing? Hope life is treating you well. Today I`m styling a vintage blazer. Have come across with it in a thrift shop and it`s basically the kind of thing I`m always after as I know myself-I will never stop buying vintage jackets and blazers. If only they ever stop selling them, but this will never happen. Anyway blazer is really important element of the outfit as with unpredictable English weather you never know. In other words this is not the type of clothes you can buy and never wear, it`s a rather useful and functional thing.

High waisted jeans

Another fashion experiment- high waisted jeans. While I always try to replace jeans by trousers and mostly wear classic cuts like straight leg or bootcut, honestly, this Spring I`m open to new fashion offers.

Wearing them with heels and accessorised with a scarf and wooden jewelery and turquoise bag (listed here).
It also has been unusually windy over the last month or even more than that, so my hair always look ridiculous and I`m a bit frustrated what to wear too as I got summer wardrobe ready at the first sign of the sun, and now it should wait until proper summer days.

What about you, do you love wearing jeans and what`s your favourite style if you do?

Flower market

Hi there
How was your weekend? Firstly I`d like to thank everyone for commenting on my last post and wishing me Happy Birthday! Got two weekend outfits for todays post.
Made a few shots in East London where we`ve been on Sunday visiting Flower Market on Columbia Road. Unfortunately it was way too busy and crowded to make more photos so I`ll post some old stuff from their web-site. What a lovely place it really is with a great selection of unique shops, galleries, pubs etc. But what really fascinates is an incredible atmosphere!
"Columbia Road retains a Dickensian atmosphere with cobbled streets, Victorian street lamps and traditional shop fronts. The street and surrounding area is frequently used as a location for film and television due to conservation of its unique characteristics."-here
So if you are around East London on Sunday morning this place famed for unbranded stuff of independent designers is definitely worth visiting. First look was just clean and classy and I liked the textures of fabrics and materials cotton skirt, lace top, woven cotton cardi and leather shoes.
Bag is a new additon to our shop also comes in 3 different colours.

Saturday look is kinda eclectic. These clogs is a result of my continuing passion for leopard print. It makes you think sometimes why your attitude to fashion things is changing? If somebody told me sometime ago I would be a leopard hunter I simply wouldn`t believe it.

What about you? Have you experienced changes in your fashion sense?

My day in May

Numerous holidays finally ended up with my Anniversary Birthday yesterday. So..one year older, one year wiser, one year stronger and a bit scared by number(age) 30.
What springs to mind about this outfit is the Royal Wedding, probably yes, probably was inspired by it. The thing I first had to start from was actually the hat. Vintage and my very favourite style it made this outfit more exquisite.

I`m also pleased to have my own Spring day on the 3-d day of May as May always brings us it`s own palette of colours, blooming trees along with lush green fields. That`s where inspiration for fashion is coming from too, I`ve always been inspired by nature, it ows everything we can recreate in fabrics and designs-colours, shapes, feelings.

And after seeing this pond, a little recreation of Borneo in the Zoo, wish I had a summer silk dress with a print of pink flamingos and...reflections.
